Commi Chef

The role:

We are looking for a Commi Chef to assist within our kitchen. The successful applicants will be responsible for daily kitchen operations and collaborating with our kitchen team, as well as communicating and working alongside our head chef.

Your roster would be across shifts ranging from lunch and dinner service, 7 days a week.

Successful candidates must have:

• Passion for food and creativity

• Consistency and attention to detail

• Australian working rights

• Experience in the industry

• A minimum of 1-2 years of industry experience is required

• Good time management and organisation skills

• Good knife skills and can work autonomously

• An understanding and experience in all sections such as grill, pans and larder

Responsibilities include:

• Managing stock levels and waste management

• Managing and working as a team in the line during busy service periods

• Communicating with the head chef and the team

• Managment of a section, prep lists, HACCAP
