About the role
Permanent, Part-Time (0.5 FTE) | Melbourne | Hybrid | SCHADS Level 3
You know that Plan International Australia exists to create justice and equality for girls. You've seen us evolving — shifting from program implementer to bridge builder, connecting resources to impact so locally-led organisations can drive change for girls at scale.
Our new strategy, Girls Rise , is bold. We're investing in a fundraising pipeline that deliberately moves supporters toward higher-value, longer-term relationships. We're building our thought leadership, pursuing climate finance, and getting smarter with AI and data. We're becoming a leaner, more focused organisation — and we need the right people in the right roles to make it real.
This might be your next step.
The RoleAppeals are the heartbeat of our cash giving program - they raise vital, flexible income and keep our giving base engaged. But under Girls Rise , they also do something more: they're a key tool for deepening mid-value and major donor relationships and moving supporters along the pipeline toward transformational giving.
As Giving Adviser, Appeals, you'll support the project management and delivery of our appeals and cash-giving activities throughout the year. You'll manage timelines and production, develop briefs and creative, coordinate data and targeting, and hold suppliers to quality and compliance. You'll work closely with the Key Relationship Manager (Mid Value), Philanthropy, Technology Data & AI and Donor Care to make sure every appeal maximises net income, gives supporters an excellent experience, and creates opportunities for deeper engagement.
This is a part-time role (19 hours per week), reporting to the Key Relationship Manager (Mid Value) and sits within the Fundraising portfolio.
