As Hitec Welding continues to expand its fabrication network, the opportunity for an experienced mechanical / project engineer has opened to join our team.

About the Role:

The role of Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the following duties:

• Oversee production and fabrication works

• Supervise activities including NDE, Pressure Testing, Surface protection 

• Managing, forecasting and ordering materials on all your projects

• Responsibility for recording and managing project documentation

• Auto Cad / Solid Works experience (Recommended) 

• General experience with Welding Procedures

• Knowledge of PIDs, GA Drawings and Weld Maps

Requirements:

• 4-Year Engineering degree

• Minimum 3 years of industry experience 

• Demonstrate the ability to manage and sustain managing multiple projects, prioritizing demands and handle complex tasks while meeting deadlines

• Strong communication skills and the ability to establish working relationship with a diverse workforce.

• Ability to promote and apply safe working methods
