Bar person/Duty Manager

About the role

We are seeking a full time bar professional to join our team at the Macedon Village Hotel, a vibrant hospitality establishment located in the picturesque town of Macedon, Victoria. This is a full-time position based at our ward winning Macedon location. You will have a key role in ensuring all our guests have a great experience while they are with us.

What you'll be doing

• Having a great time while you are working the rest of our team

• Provide exceptional customer service and foster a positive, welcoming environment for guests

• Maintaining our service standards with other team members

• Assist with training, and management of existing and talented hospitality team

• Ensure the hotel maintains high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service

• Make awesome drinks and really engage with our guests

• Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the Macedon Village Hotel

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in pub style bar and wanting to take the next step up in your career

• Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to creating a positive guest experience

• A can do attitude that has the ability to role with what each day brings

• Familiarity with hospitality industry regulations and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and compliance

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders

• Passion for the hospitality industry and a desire to contribute to the growth and success of the Macedon Village Hotel
