The Role

The successful applicant will support the coordination and delivery of the Student Support Program, helping to ensure it is responsive to the needs of Aboriginal students, their families, and school staff. You will contribute to the development and implementation of effective systems and intervention strategies, while also providing practical advice to teachers on approaches that support Aboriginal student engagement and learning, including facilitating group work where appropriate.

A key part of the role involves building strong, supportive connections between students, families, the school, and relevant community organisations, as well as establishing partnerships with government and non-government agencies. You will actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences, offering informed input and consultancy advice, and assist in conducting student assessments in collaboration with parents, staff, and other stakeholders.
