Medical Receptionist

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Medical Receptionist to join our team at the EATONS QUALITY MEDICAL AND SKIN CANCER CENTRE in Brendale, QLD. This is a casual role where you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our patients and supporting the smooth running of our medical practice.

What you'll be doing

1. Greeting and welcoming patients, both in person and on the phone, with a friendly and professional manner

2. Scheduling and managing patient appointments

3. Handling patient enquiries and providing information about our services

4. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records

5. Assisting with the administrative tasks required to support the medical team

6. Working collaboratively with the rest of the practice team to provide the best possible experience for our patients

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience in a medical reception or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a warm and professional manner

3. Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities, with the capacity to handle a busy and varied workload

4. Proficiency in using medical practice management software and other relevant computer applications

5. A friendly, patient and empathetic approach, with a genuine interest in providing high-quality customer service

6. A commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality and following established protocols and procedures
