We are currently seeking a Part Time Guest Service Agent to join our Front Office team.

Your Day to Day

As a Guest Service Agent, you will be at the heart of the guest experience, creating memorable first and last impressions while delivering the warm, personalised service that defines InterContinental Hotels & Resorts®.

Working within our Front Office team, you will play an important role in ensuring every guest feels welcomed, valued, and cared for throughout their stay.

In this role, you will:

• Deliver a warm, genuine, and professional welcome to every guest, creating exceptional first impressions.
• Manage guest arrivals and departures efficiently, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience.
• Handle guest enquiries, reservations, requests, and payments with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Recognise and engage with IHG One Rewards members and returning guests to deliver personalised service experiences.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide recommendations on Resort facilities, dining options, local attractions, and experiences.
• Act as a key point of contact for guests, resolving enquiries and concerns with empathy, professionalism, and confidence.
• Build positive relationships with guests and colleagues to support an exceptional guest journey.
• Collaborate closely with all departments to ensure service delivery is seamless and consistent across the Resort.
• Maintain accurate guest records and operational procedures in accordance with Resort and brand standards.
• Participate in daily briefings, training sessions, and team development initiatives.
• Uphold IHG brand standards, policies, and values in every interaction. 

What We Need From You

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Previous experience in a Front Office, guest service, or hospitality role within a hotel environment
• A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and creating meaningful connections with people.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, confident, and professional approach.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to achieving positive guest outcomes.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Experience using Opera PMS or similar hotel management systems (preferred).
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Full Australian working rights.
