About the role
Manningham General Practice, located in Lower Templestowe, is seeking a Permanent Part-Time Medical Receptionist to join our warm, professional and supportive team. Operating since 2003, our clinic is home to experienced GPs, nurses, admininstration staff, and visiting specialists.
This is a permanent part-time position of 30 hours per week and can be flexible with availability and work hours. Availability on Mondays is essential, with flexibility to work on Monday to Friday.

Welcoming patients to the clinic in a professional and courteous manner
Schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently
Handling phone inquiries, emails, and patient requests efficiently
Process patient billing and EFTPOS payments
Assisting our doctors and clinical team through general administrative tasks
Perform general administrative tasks including scanning, faxing, mail, and updating patient records
Work independently and collaboratively across different departments within the practice
Maintaining the privacy and confidentiality standards for all patient records
Previous experience as a medical receptionist preferred
Experience with Medical Director Clinical and Pracsoft is highly regarded (training provided)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all age groups
Able to work for 30 hours per week and can be flexible with availability and work hours
Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
Strong attention to detail and computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
High level of professionalism and confidentiality
Calm under pressure and committed to delivering quality patient care
