Clinical Care Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Care Manager to lead clinical governance, training, and quality assurance across our workforce. This role ensures safe, high-quality service delivery aligned with NDIS and Support at Home Standards, while supporting staff development and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

·       Oversee development and implementation of care plans, including high-intensity, clinical, manual handling, and medication supports

·       Ensure risks are effectively managed and reviewed in line with policy

·       Deliver training and assess staff competencies

·       Identify and address gaps in staff training and compliance

·       Maintain compliance with NDIS, Support at Home, TAC/SSR standards

·       Support internal and external audit processes

·       Provide clinical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to staff and management

·       Contribute to quality, risk, and operational meetings

·       Conduct and support staff performance appraisals and supervisions

·       Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely communication of care updates

·       Report incidents, hazards, and complaints in line with organisational processes

·       Work collaboratively with the Programs, Rostering and HR Teams to maintain positive outcomes for participants and staff and demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

·       Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration (essential)

·       Minimum 5 years post-registration experience (preferred)

·       Community nursing and/or disability experience (desirable)

·       Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (desirable)

Requirements:

·       Current Working with Children Check (VIC) or willingness to obtain

·       NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain

·       Current Driver’s License.

·       Full Australian working rights

Salary

Nurses Award – RN Level 3, Pay Point 1–3
$84,829 – $87,872 per annum plus super (dependent on qualifications and experience)
