Position Available – Respiratory & Sleep Scientist
Location: Woolloongabba, QLD

We are currently seeking a qualified Respiratory and Sleep Scientist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in a busy General Practice and Children’s Lung and Sleep Specialist setting located in Woolloongabba. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional with a passion for respiratory health and patient care.

About the Role:

You will be working closely with our Specialists and clinical team to deliver high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic services related to sleep and respiratory conditions. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is driven to make a difference in patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting and interpreting spirometry and lung function testing

• Performing sleep studies and CPAP initiation/troubleshooting

• Assisting with the implementation and monitoring of chronic respiratory disease management plans

• Educating patients on sleep hygiene and respiratory health

• Collaborating with GPs and allied health for integrated patient care

• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation

• Participating in infection control and quality improvement activities

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Respiratory Physiology or Clinical Physiology (Sleep/Respiratory)

• Experience in respiratory function testing and/or sleep diagnostics

• Registration and Certification as a Respiratory Scientist with  (ANZSRS)

• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills

• Strong computer literacy and ability to use clinical software

• A proactive and team-oriented attitude
