Your GM is committed to helping clients reach their business goals, with growth as the core mission.Role Description This Part-time Office Coordinator role is a contract position based on-site in East Melbourne, VIC, supporting a professional service firm (legal/accounts). The Office Coordinator will handle day-to-day administrative tasks, including managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, maintaining files and records, and supporting document preparation. The role involves greeting clients and visitors, answering and directing phone calls, and ensuring a professional and welcoming office environment. The Office Coordinator will oversee basic office equipment use and coordination, assist with supplies and vendor liaison, and support internal communication between team members. The position requires consistent, reliable on-site presence and collaboration with firm leadership to keep operations running smoothly.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Administrative Assistance skills, including calendar management, filing, and general office support.Candidates should possess professional Phone Etiquette and Customer Service skills to manage calls and client interactions effectively.Candidates should possess practical experience with Office Equipment, such as printers, scanners, and phone systems, and basic troubleshooting capabilities.Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with clients and team members.Relevant experience in a legal, accounting, or other professional services office environment is highly beneficial.Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.Comfort working autonomously on-site, with a proactive and solution-focused approach to office operations.Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or similar) and basic data entry skills.
