Trade Assistant (Rubber)

Inflatable Packers Int. (IPI Packers) is an Australian based company located in new purpose built premises in Bayswater where we design and manufacture inflatable packers and downhole tools.

We are recruiting a Trade Assistant for a full time position to undertake the following tasks and we will provide training.

• work with power tools, rubber grinding on a manual lathe and pressure testing packer elements

• prepare materials i.e. rubber and steel fabric

• stocking materials

• assist trades when required

• general workshop cleaning

• excellent work ethic and comfortable with standing the majority of the day

• ability to take on responsibility and work without constant supervision

• good communication and safety skills

• reliable, punctual plus available for overtime or shift work if required
