We are seeking an enthusiastic Chef De Partie who has experience in a premium kitchen service to work within one of our restaurants. The restaurant works on a 7 day rotating roster and will require you to learn and develop skills in all sections of the busy kitchen operation.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:

• Formal qualifications in Commercial Cookery.
• Experience in a high volume a la carte restaurant;
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team;
• Previous hotel or resort experience (highly regarded);
• Experience in Italian Cuisine (highly regarded)

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Utilising the staff and resources available, organise and facilitate the highest possible standards of food service in your designated area of the kitchen.
• Assisting in supervising and guiding demi-chefs, cooks, and kitchen stewards.
• Ensuring concerns with product and service are communicated with the Senior Chef in Charge.
• Encouraging clear communication lines and forums between all personnel.
• Ensuring the kitchen is clean, tidy, and ready for any inspection, food us correctly handled and stored correctly.
• Ensuring staff are aware of requirements and follow food safety guidelines, and food safety program.
