Build On Services is seeking Project Engineers (Civil | Structural | Electrical & Mechanical) to join a major renewable infrastructure project. Multiple positions are available across disciplines, offering an outstanding opportunity for engineers looking to contribute to large-scale, nation-shaping renewable energy developments.Working within a high-performing delivery team alongside Project Managers, Site Managers, Design Consultants, and subcontractors, you will play a key role in coordinating construction activities, driving project outcomes, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate day-to-day engineering and construction activities across project work fronts (civil, structural, electrical, or mechanical, depending on discipline)Develop and manage short and long-term construction programs to support project delivery milestonesReview design documentation and manage design coordination between consultants, subcontractors, and project teamsPrepare, review, and administer RFIs, technical queries, and engineering documentationMonitor subcontractor performance, ensuring works are completed in accordance with project specifications and contractual requirementsManage quality assurance processes, including inspections, test plans, and compliance documentationDrive project planning, procurement coordination, and resource allocation activitiesAssist in managing project budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and variation assessmentsCoordinate with site teams to ensure construction activities are delivered safely and efficientlySupport project reporting requirements, including progress reporting, risk management, and stakeholder updatesIdentify and mitigate project risks while implementing proactive solutions to maintain delivery objectivesEnsure compliance with Australian Standards, project specifications, and client requirementsBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and key project stakeholdersContribute to continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery processes
🎯 Skills & Experience2–7 years' experience as a Project Engineer within the Australian construction industry (Civil, Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical discipline)Demonstrated experience delivering major infrastructure or renewable energy projects with Tier 1 or leading Tier 2 contractorsProven experience across renewable energy, utilities, power, or large-scale infrastructure developmentsAustralian construction experience is essentialExposure to major renewable or infrastructure projects is highly desirableStrong understanding of construction methodology, sequencing, and project delivery processesExperience in subcontractor management, procurement, programming, and project coordinationSound knowledge of Australian construction standards, regulations, and relevant codes for your disciplineExperience managing technical documentation, RFIs, quality records, and project reporting requirementsProficiency in project management and construction software platformsStrong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in fast-paced, remote project environments and manage competing prioritiesBachelor's degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related disciplineFull Australian working rightsWillingness and ability to work FIFO rosters
