Boilermaker

Cascade (Australia) Pty Ltd is part of the global Cascade Corporation, our head office is in Portland, Oregon in the USA.  In Australia, we have a significant operation which manufactures and supplies a broad range of forks, attachments and accessories for the Materials Handling Market.  

We currently have an opportunity for a Casual Boilermaker to join our team based at our Queensland Darra facility, working a four-day week (Mon- Thurs - 6.00am to 4.00pm). There are regular opportunities for overtime on the Fridays and paid crib breaks in the morning and afternoon.

You will have the following skills:

• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings

• Competent at welding and boiler making, neat finishes required

• Ability to add up and measure accurately

• Experience with bespoke projects, not production line work

Essential:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in an engineering environment

Desirable:

• Trade qualification in Engineering (min Cert III)

• Forklift Licence - but not essential.
