Operations Support Officer

Qwest is currently seeking two Operations Support Officers to join our Perth Team in Booragoon.                                 

This Role is on 9/5 roster (9 days on/ 5 days off) 6am-6pm - No Site FIFO - You are home every night to maintain work-life balance. 

The Operations Support Officer will play a crucial role in assisting our Operations Managers and Supervising team with daily support of our Crane Fleet & Personnel.

Our business is predominantly based in Central Queensland & Western Australia, Within the mining industry, on a 24/7 schedule. This demands & 9/5 roster to ensure adequate operating support during operational hours. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing comprehensive support to the Operations Team, and relevant Managers across WA & QLD.

• Reviewing employee timesheets & customer job cards.

• Auditing job cards and preparing them for filing and submission to the. accounts team.

• Booking training, medicals, flights & accommodation across multiple sites and locations. 

• Preparing job packs.

• Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting requirements.

• Assisting with manning projects, engaging labour and answering customer queries.

• Onboarding & Site Mobilisation

• Personnel and Fleet compliance support to ensure people and fleet are site ready

• Following company processes to complete required tasks

Skills and Experience Needed and Desired.

• Previous experience in rostering/scheduling is desirable.

• Experience in booking accommodation across a wide range of sites, programs, and systems. 

• Great communication skills.

• Ability to multitask & manage time and organize workload.

• Computer skills and working knowledge of Excel & Sharepoint,

• Experience in operations and administrative support roles is desirable.

• Knowledge and experience within Mining, Construction or Crane industry desirable.

• Strong work ethic and happy to jump in and help in other areas if needed

Benefits:

• Attractive Starting salary of $115,000 + Super, 

• KPI increase considered after 6 months

• 9 days on – 5 Days off Roster. 

• 12-hour office days. No site travel & Home every night.

• Booragoon office Base.
