Aged Care Facility Cleaner (Full-Time)

Challenger Services Group is seeking dedicated and reliable Full-Time Aged Care Facility Cleaners to join our team across Rooty Hill and Kingswood, NSW. In this role, you'll help maintain a clean, hygienic, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff while supporting the high standards expected within an aged care setting.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm

Location: Rooty Hill and Kingswood, NSW

As a Facility Cleaner, you'll be responsible for:

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across resident rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, and staff facilities.
• Performing routine cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, disinfecting surfaces, and waste removal.
• Following infection control procedures and workplace health and safety standards.
• Conducting regular sanitisation of high-touch surfaces to support resident wellbeing.
• Replenishing cleaning supplies, paper products, and consumables throughout the facility.
• Reporting maintenance issues, hazards, or equipment faults to supervisors.
• Supporting a welcoming and comfortable living environment for residents and visitors.
• Treating residents, visitors, and staff with professionalism, dignity, and respect.

You'll be someone who:

• Has previous cleaning, housekeeping, healthcare, hotel, or aged care experience (preferred but not essential).
• Takes pride in delivering high-quality cleaning services.
• Understands safe cleaning practices, infection control, and chemical handling procedures.
• Has excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Enjoys working independently and as part of a team.
• • Has a genuine interest in creating a positive environment for elderly residents.
• Holds a valid Police Check or is willing to obtain one.
• Holds an NDIS Worker Check or is willing to obtain one (Mandatory).
• Has received at least two COVID-19 vaccinations and a current Influenza vaccination (Mandatory).
