About the role

Health Nexus Launcearon' is seeking experienced Registered or Enrolled Nurses to join our dedicated and growing healthcare team in Launceston, Tasmania. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for skilled nurses to contribute to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care within our busy medical practice.

What you'll be doing

• Providing direct nursing care to patients, including assessment, treatment, and monitoring

• Assisting doctors with examinations, procedures, and treatment plans

• Administering medications and injections according to protocols

• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records

• Coordinating the flow of patients and ensuring efficient clinic operations

• Collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for patients

• Participating in the ongoing professional development and training of the nursing team

What we're looking for

• Current registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience working in a general medical or surgical nursing role would be preferred but we are happy to invest in the right candidate

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team

• A commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care

• Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
