About the role
Health Nexus Launcearon' is seeking experienced Registered or Enrolled Nurses to join our dedicated and growing healthcare team in Launceston, Tasmania. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for skilled nurses to contribute to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care within our busy medical practice.
What you'll be doing
Providing direct nursing care to patients, including assessment, treatment, and monitoring
Assisting doctors with examinations, procedures, and treatment plans
Administering medications and injections according to protocols
Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
Coordinating the flow of patients and ensuring efficient clinic operations
Collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for patients
Participating in the ongoing professional development and training of the nursing team
What we're looking for
Current registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
Minimum 2 years of recent experience working in a general medical or surgical nursing role would be preferred but we are happy to invest in the right candidate
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team
A commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care
Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
