CHEFS WANTED – CASUAL & FULL-TIME

Berts City Beach is looking for talented chefs across a range of experience levels to join our kitchen team.

Casual and full-time positions are available, with the role and employment arrangement tailored to the right candidate.

We’re passionate about delivering high-quality food with a strong focus on fresh, seasonal produce. We’re looking for chefs who can confidently contribute to a busy kitchen, maintain high standards and help strengthen the leadership and development within our team.

Experience with Modern Australian cuisine and fresh, seasonal produce is highly regarded.

What you’ll be doing

• Running a busy section, including larder, grill, pizza or desserts

• Working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to consistently deliver a high standard of food

• Supporting the training and development of less-experienced chefs

• Contributing ideas toward our seasonally evolving menu

• Assisting with functions and events

• Maintaining strong food-safety, presentation and kitchen standards

What we’re looking for

• Experience working in a busy, high-volume kitchen

• Strong technical skills and attention to detail

• Creativity and a passion for fresh, high-quality produce

• The ability to remain organised and perform well under pressure

• Excellent time-management and communication skills

• A positive, team-oriented attitude

• Experience with functions and events is highly regarded

• Leadership and training experience is an advantage for senior applicants

• Availability across a flexible roster, including weekends

• Australian working rights
