Truck & Dog Driver - Civil Construction Company

The Role:

J Group Corporation is seeking an experienced Truck & Dog Driver / Operator to join our growing civil construction team in Sydney.

We are looking for a reliable, experienced operator who is confident driving Truck & Dog combinations and can also assist with operating and floating heavy machinery between sites.

About the Role

• Truck & Dog driving across civil construction projects

• Transporting and tipping materials including soil, road base, aggregates and spoil

• Floating and transporting plant and machinery between sites

• Operating machinery when required

• Loading and unloading plant safely

• Completing daily vehicle and plant checks

• Working alongside site crews to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently

• Maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism

About You

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar Truck & Dog / civil construction role

• Current HR or HC licence with relevant experience

• Experience operating Truck & Dog combinations

• Confident floating and transporting heavy machinery

• Able to operate civil construction machinery

• Relevant plant tickets and licences highly regarded

• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety

• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently

• Good communication skills and a strong work ethic

• Experience working on civil construction sites
