Ramcorp are a privately owned labour hire, civil construction and underground mining company based in Tasmania but servicing clients across Australia.     

Botanical Resources Australia are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Casual Farm Hand(s) to join their Farms team based in Penguin, Tasmania.

This is a temporary casual opportunity for approximately four weeks, commencing 31 August 2026. Employees can expect to work 6-7 hours per day, depending on weather and operational requirements.

About the Role:

In this hands-on role, you will assist with a range of general farm labouring duties including weeding, stone picking, crop maintenance and field preparation activities. You will work under the direction of supervisors while following safe work procedures and company protocols.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical outdoor work, are reliable and punctual and are looking for short-term employment in a farming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake weeding activities across a variety of crops.

• Perform stone picking and field preparation tasks as required.

• Follow safe work procedures for manual handling tasks.

• Assist with loading materials into tractor buckets.

• Work safely around tractors, machinery and farm equipment.

• Correctly use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Follow instructions and directions from supervisors and authorised personnel.

• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work environment.

• Undertake other general farm duties as required.

• Ability to work on uneven terrain and in varying weather conditions.
