We are a successful and growing residential and commercial construction company seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our team in St Leonards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in a supportive, positive and professional environment.

This is a hands-on role where you will be involved in all key aspects of project delivery. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a critical role in contract administration, procurement, coordination and project support across multiple projects.

Your New Role

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Requesting, filing and maintaining the drawings register and ensuring all updated information is distributed to relevant trades

• Preparing and maintaining detailed RFI registers and liaising with consultants

• Managing and comparing quotations from suppliers and subcontractors

• Preparing and issuing purchase orders, subcontracts and variations

• Coordinating with the Site Manager to ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials and scheduling of consultant inspections

• Assisting with on-site progress tracking and quality control

• Coordinating building approvals and relevant documentation, including CC and OC

• Preparing action lists and taking minutes during monthly client meetings

• Preparing, tracking and following up defect lists until completion

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Contracts Administrator role within the construction industry

• Solid understanding of construction processes, drawings and Australian standards

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• A proactive, coachable attitude and willingness to learn and grow
