Ilim College is seeking a passionate and suitably qualified Primary Specialist Teacher – Languages (Turkish) to join our Glenroy Primary Campus in a full-time, ongoing position commencing in 2027.
This is an exciting opportunity for an educator with strong proficiency in the Turkish language and an appreciation of Turkish culture to deliver engaging and meaningful language learning experiences to students from Prep to Year 6.
The primary teaching allocation for this position will be P–6 Languages – Turkish, aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging learning experiences that develop students’ Turkish language skills and cultural understanding. The role will also involve supporting the co-curricular and enrichment activities of the Turkish Languages program.
Additional subjects and duties may be allocated based on the operational needs of the College.
Relevant teaching qualifications and current VIT registration
Demonstrated proficiency in the Turkish language
Strong knowledge and appreciation of Turkish culture
Ability to deliver engaging and age-appropriate Turkish language programs for Prep–Year 6 students
Strong communication, organisation and classroom management skills
A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to co-curricular and enrichment activities
