Sales & Event Representative

Bookipi Group is hiring a remote Sales & Events Representative based in Australia to grow our customer base across Bookipi and Payroller through prospecting, product demonstrations, pipeline management and industry events. The ideal candidate is proactive, organised, commercially minded and excited about helping small businesses through technology and AI-powered solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to inbound enquiries and prospect for new customers through email, phone, LinkedIn and other channels.
• Conduct discovery calls, product demonstrations and follow-ups to build and convert a qualified sales pipeline.
• Coordinate trade shows, conferences, webinars and customer events from planning through delivery.
• Manage event organisers, suppliers, staffing, travel, materials, schedules, budgets and contingency plans.
• Engage attendees, qualify leads and ensure opportunities are accurately captured and followed up in the CRM.
• Track sales activity, conversions, revenue, event costs and return on investment.
• Use AI and automation to improve prospect research, personalised outreach, lead nurturing and CRM updates.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, support and onboarding teams across Bookipi and Payroller.

Must-haves:

• 3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, events or a related commercial role.
• Strong English communication skills and confidence conducting customer conversations and product demonstrations.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities, suppliers and deadlines.
• Experience using CRM systems and working toward pipeline, conversion and revenue targets.
• Experience supporting trade shows, conferences, webinars or business events.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience working with small and medium-sized businesses.
• Background in SaaS, payroll, accounting, hospitality or business software.
• Interest or practical experience in AI, automation and technology.
• Experience working independently in a remote environment.
• A degree in business, marketing, communications or a related field.
