Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Payroll Services on a full-time ongoing basis.
About the role
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will lead the Gippsland Regional Payroll Service, providing strategic leadership to a high-performing team delivering payroll services across Latrobe Regional Health and Gippsland Health Service partners. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of a regional shared service through strong leadership, governance, innovation and continuous improvement while building trusted partnerships and driving service excellence
This pivotal role ensures compliance with legislation, industrial agreements, and organisational protocols while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence. As a strategic leader, you will be the subject matter expert for payroll across the region, guiding process enhancements, managing system upgrades, and fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and collaboration.

Located in the picturesque region of Gippsland, Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) offers the perfect balance between career and lifestyle. LRH cares for a population of about 300,000 and is the regional provider of specialist services. Our catchment covers 42,000 square kilometres, from Phillip Island to Mallacoota in the far east of Victoria. LRH offers cardiac care, surgery, medical, renal, emergency care, aged care, women's and children's services, pharmacy, allied health and rehabilitation. Medical and radiation oncology are offered by the Gippsland Cancer Care Centre.
Now is an exciting time to join the LRH team, with the $223.5 million expansion completed in March 2024, offering improved maternity and paediatric facilities, larger intensive care unit, increased medical and surgical beds and additional operating theatres.
