What You'll DoSupport the Director and Senior Team in the day to day management and smooth operation of the service, including helping to lead and support a team of approximately 15 educators.
Lead, supervise, and engage children in a safe, inclusive, nurturing, and fun environment.
Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, educators, and the wider school community.
Assist with programming, planning, critical reflection, and evaluation to deliver engaging, high quality, child-centred experiences.
Contribute to administration, compliance, and quality assurance processes, including maintaining accurate documentation and records.
Assist with purchasing resources and maintaining a well stocked, organised, and welcoming environment.
Support and mentor fellow educators while fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to strengthen your skills and leadership capabilities.
Current Working with Children Check (required).
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, Anaphylaxis and Child Protection training (preferred).
Experience working in childcare and/or a relevant qualification (experience in Outside School Hours Care or with primary school aged children is highly regarded).
Current driver's licence (preferred).
Excellent communication, organisational, and administration skills.
Reliable, proactive, and motivated to grow within the industry.
A positive attitude, enthusiasm, initiative, and a strong work ethic.
A genuine passion for creating meaningful experiences for children.
Job Type: Casual, with potential opportunities to transition into permanent employment following demonstrated performance.
Hours: Negotiable.
Pay: $35.00 to $50.00 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience), plus the Worker Retention Payment (where applicable) and access to our staff bonus and recognition program.
Location: Epping, NSW. On site position, with limited hybrid work opportunities for administrative tasks once established in the role.
