About the role
About the role
We are searching for a suitable candidate with any dental clinical experience e.g. Dental Therapist/Hygienist, Dental Nurse/Assistant to join this unique practice on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Key responsibilities
Taking digital impressions of patient's teeth using intraoral scanner (Medit i700)
Preparing consulting room prior to each patient appointment
Cleaning and sterilising room after each patient appointment and autoclaving
Discussing and demonstrating care instructions for occlusal splints
Discussing and demonstrating jaw pain exercises and instructions
Discussing and demonstrating jaw mobilisation device
Applying Laser Therapy to the orofacial region
Reception and administration duties as required
General clean up
Providing enthusiastic and compassionate care to patients suffering orofacial pain
About you
Dental clinical experience e.g. Dental Therapist/Hygienist, Dental Nurse/Assistant
Basic computer knowledge required
Experience with digital scanning preferred, but not essential

Dr Robert Delcanho has a specialist practice limited to diagnosis and management of patients suffering orofacial pain and sleep disorders. He treats pain felt in the regions of the face, head, jaw, and mouth, as well as those who suffer with snoring or obstructive sleep apnoea.
