Sampling & Production Coordinator

About the Role 

Reporting to the Creative Sampling & Production Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of our busy Sampling Department. You'll be trusted to coordinate sampling operations, manage priorities, maintain stock levels and continually look for ways to improve the way the department operates. 

This isn't just a production role. We're looking for someone who enjoys improving processes, solving problems and making sure everything runs like clockwork. 

One minute you'll be producing premium textile and wall covering samples, the next you'll be coordinating sampling requests in HubSpot, monitoring stock levels, planning ahead to ensure we never run out of key materials, or helping develop smarter systems that improve the way we work.

What You'll Be Doing 

No two days are the same. Your responsibilities will include: 

• Producing high-quality textile, wall covering and product samples 

• Assembling, labelling and packaging samples for clients and sales representatives 

• Operating production equipment including heat presses, guillotines, sewing machines, hot knives and other sampling machinery 

• Managing sampling requests through HubSpot CRM and ensuring jobs are completed accurately and on time 

• Coordinating multiple sample formats across a wide range of products 

• Maintaining and organising the sampling department to ensure efficient workflows 

• Monitoring stock levels of sampling materials and consumables 

• Ordering and replenishing stock before supplies run low 

• Assisting with implementing new procedures and systems to improve stock control and department efficiency 

• Working closely with design, production, warehouse and sales teams to ensure samples are delivered on time 

• Maintaining exceptional presentation standards across all samples and display materials 

About You 

We're looking for someone who is equally comfortable working on the production floor as they are behind a computer. You'll ideally have: 

• Exceptional organisational and time management skills 

• Strong computer skills and confidence learning new software 

• Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot experience highly regarded) 

• Excellent attention to detail 

• The ability to manage multiple competing priorities 

• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset 

• Confidence working independently and taking ownership of your department 

• A practical approach to improving systems and processes 

• Good numerical skills and confidence managing stock levels 

• The ability to lift, move and prepare sampling materials throughout the day 

• A positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed
