Chef/Cook

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Chef or Cook to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to restaurant standards.
• Develop menus and create new recipes based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients.
• Food preparation, plating, and presentation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Order supplies and minimise waste.
• Train and supervise junior kitchen staff.
• Maintain high standards while working in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and Experience Required

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen.
• Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required.

No split shifts, afternoon/evenings only. Sponsorship not available.
