As a Senior Field Service Technician, you will play an integral role in maintaining, certifying, calibrating, and repairing equipment, ensuring our customers receive world-class technical support and service.

As we continue to expand our service delivery capability, we are seeking motivated, self-driven professionals to join our growing team.

Our Queensland team is looking to immediately engage a committed Senior Field Service Technician to provide ongoing field-based technical support and perform routine mechanical testing, certification, calibration, maintenance, and repair activities. Due to the specialised nature of our business, comprehensive training will be provided on specific equipment, applications, and technical procedures.

 Responsibilities:

• Perform onsite calibration, certification, preventative maintenance, repairs, and fault diagnosis on customer equipment.
• Conduct mechanical testing, certification, and sensor calibrations.
• Collaborate with colleagues and technical specialists to resolve complex problems.
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate service records, calibration certificates, and technical documentation.
• Take responsibility for the care, maintenance, security, and correct use of all company-issued tools, calibration equipment, testing instruments, service vehicles, and associated assets.
• Ensure company tools and test equipment remain in a safe, operational, and calibrated condition.
• Manage vehicle stock, spare parts, consumables, and field service equipment to ensure service readiness.

 Customer Support

• Provide professional technical support to customers.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Respond promptly to service requests and technical escalations.
• Communicate effectively regarding service findings, recommendations, and equipment condition.

Leadership and Mentoring

• Provide technical support and mentoring to Field Service Technicians.
• Assist with technician training and onboarding.
• Support the Field Service Manager in developing technician capability and technical expertise.
• Act as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues.

Requirements

• Relevant electrical, mechanical, appliance servicing, instrumentation, or trade background.
• Current Queensland Electrical Work Licence (mandatory).
• Minimum 3 years' experience in field service, maintenance, calibration, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage a field-based workload.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Current unrestricted driver's licence and willingness to travel to customer sites, including regional and interstate locations when required.
