Casual Receptionist and Administration Support

• $50.26 per hour plus 12.75% superannuation

About the Role:

Are you organised, flexible, personable and always ready with a warm welcome? We're building our casual relief pool for Reception and Administration across the College. As the first point of contact for students, families, staff and visitors, you'll help create a positive first impression while providing reliable administrative support wherever it's needed across the College. This is a great opportunity for someone keen to utilise their strong administrative and customer service skills based on demand, and would suit someone flexible, adaptable, and happy to be on standby

This casual role offers genuine flexibility and variety. You might be:

• Covering planned staff leave
• Providing extra support during peak periods
• Stepping in for on-the-day relief when a staff member is unwell

You'll have opportunities to assist with Reception and Administrative support, adapting quickly to different areas of the College while keeping things running smoothly.

What you’ll do:

• Be the first point of contact for visitors, families, and staff, creating a professional and welcoming experience.
• Manage phone, email, and in-person enquiries with efficiency and care.
• Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, scanning etc.
• Coordinate mail, appointments, and day to day office operations.
• Provide administrative support to various areas of the College if needed.
• Always uphold confidentiality and professionalism.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous reception or administration experience (school experience an advantage).
• Willingness to work flexible casual shifts, including at short notice.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• A calm, polished, and professional manner – even when things get busy!
• Experience with TASS or other school systems (desirable but not essential).
