Your role in a nutshell

No two days for a Check Point Security Engineer (Presales) are the same, from getting hands on with the most advanced technologies in the market, to learning more about the customer’s most pressing security challenges and playing a crucial part in designing a solution, you’re always at the heart of fascinating projects!

Key Responsibilities

Your Role

Work closely with our Sales Team in providing recommendations on appropriate Check Point solutions to meet our customer’s cyber security needs.Provide insight and advice to potential and existing customers based on Check Point's best practice, applying your skills and knowledge in our industry to drive the optimal outcome. Lead the technical engagement, addressing technical questions, providing consultative advice and managing key tasks such as Proof-of-Value and Cyber WorkshopsDemonstrate our full portfolio of solutions that help keep organizations safe from threats and protect their operations and informationDrive meetings with potential and existing customers to identify their problems and provide appropriate solutionsSupport the responses to RFI's & RFP's with the relevant bid teamsEngage and support the enablement of key partners and customers on the latest Cyber Security Technologies.Active participation in cyber security eventsKeep timely update of activity reports and ensure timely communication with the Manager.

Qualifications

We are looking for people who:

Have a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent Industry experienceHave a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant engineering and pre-sales experienceStrong Network Security knowledge required, with hands-on experience in Check Point Security Gateways or a comparable solutionPossess strong analytical and problem solving skillsHave good understanding of typical customer architecture and cyber needsAre exposed to network, cloud and End Point security is advantageousHave a bring a customer first mindset and experience in working with large to medium enterprise organizationsHave the ability to create an end-to-end security solution for a customer’s environmentHave excellent communication and presentation skillsAs part of a distributed team of people, a strong sense of teamwork is required.Relevant certifications highly preferred, e.g. CCNP / CISSP/ CCSA / CCSEFluent in English - written and verbalAn active Australian Federal Government security clearance is preferred, or the ability to obtain one upon appointment.
