The company exports its high-performance longwall mining equipment to all major mining markets worldwide, strategically located globally in countries including Australia. 

HBT Services QLD is responsible for the overhauls of longwall machinery across QLD and operates under three (3) plants, being Overhauls, Gearbox repairs and Warehouse.

We are looking for mechanically minded hands-on school leavers who are ready to commit to a four year mechanical trade (MEM30129 Certificate III Mechanical Fitter), based in Paget. You will learn from the best in the business and, as the OEM, we will teach you every mechanical aspect of HBT longwall equipment. You will work alongside specialists who have an intimate knowledge of the equipment.

The process:

2. Initial shortlist with successful applicants being invited to do an aptitude test
3. Further short listing with successful applicants being invited for interview
4. Some applicants being invited to a second interview
