AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN - Glory EV Group | BYD Bayswater Service Centre

Glory EV Group is seeking qualified Automotive Technicians to join our growing aftersales team across our BYD Bayswater Service Centres.

This role is ideal for technicians who are passionate about the future of electric vehicles and want to work with one of the fastest-growing EV brands in Australia. Previous experience in an automotive workshop is essential, and EV experience will be highly regarded.

You will play a key role in maintaining vehicle quality, diagnosing issues, and delivering high-standard service outcomes for our customers.

• Carry out scheduled servicing, maintenance, and repairs on BYD vehicles
• Perform diagnostics using manufacturer-approved tools and systems
• Accurately complete Repair Orders (ROs) and service documentation
• Conduct vehicle inspections and report any additional work required
• Work closely with Service Advisors and Parts team to ensure efficiency
• Follow BYD repair procedures and safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment
• Ensure all work is completed within allocated timeframes

• Previous experience as an Automotive Technician (dealership preferred)
• Relevant automotive trade qualification (Certificate III or equivalent)
• Experience with diagnostics and fault finding
• EV or Hybrid experience (highly regarded but not essential)
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Ability to work in a fast-paced workshop environment
• Valid Australian Driver’s License
