Trainee Venue Supervisors – Relocate to Mount Isa!

The Isa Hotel & Red Earth Hotel in Mount Isa is on the lookout for motivated and experienced hospitality professionals to join our Trainee Supervisors Program.

Become part of our thriving, multi-outlet venue as a Trainee Supervisor across Bar, Restaurant, Bottleshop, OR Gaming. You’ll develop your leadership and operational skills through our structured performance framework, working closely with our General Manager, with a clear pathway into a full-time Supervisor role.

What You’ll Do:

• Use your hospitality experience and technical knowledge to quickly learn and adapt to our venue operations.
• Supervise venue operations (bar, restaurant, retail or gaming) in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer experiences in a high-energy setting.
• Work closely with management to support promotions, entertainment, and functions that drive sales and enhance the venue experience.
• Manage cash handling and POS procedures, ensuring accuracy in till reconciliation.
• Handle customer feedback and inquiries professionally, helping build a welcoming and memorable atmosphere for locals and visitors.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working in a fast-paced hospitality environment (bar, restaurant, bottleshop, gaming room).
• Previous experience leading, coaching, or supporting hospitality teams on shift (desirable).
• Genuine motivation to build a long-term career in hospitality, with a pathway into management.
• Strong customer service focus with the ability to train staff.
• Reliable, eager to learn, and a team player.
• Current QLD RSA and RSG (or ability to obtain).
