Storeperson / Production Worker (Forklift Driver)

About the Role

Are you a reliable, hands-on professional with a valid forklift licence? We are seeking a versatile Storeperson / Production Worker to join our team on a full-time basis.

In this dynamic, dual-function role, you will split your time between managing daily warehouse operations and assisting with manufacturing. You'll play a vital part in maintaining smooth inventory flow, accurate stock control, and efficient production output.

Key Responsibilities

Warehousing & Stock Control:

• Operating forklifts safely to load, unload, and relocate goods/materials.

• Accurate picking, packing, and dispatching of finished orders.

• Managing stock levels, conducting regular stocktakes, and cycle counting.

• Receiving incoming goods, inspecting for quality, and storing them correctly.

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.

Production & Manufacturing:

• Assisting on the manufacturing line with assembly, processing, or packaging tasks.

• Supplying raw materials to production areas to keep operations running without downtime.

• Performing basic quality control checks on finished goods.

• Adhering strictly to Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) standards.

Skills & Experience

Requirements:

• Licence: Current, valid High Risk Forklift Licence (LF) is essential.

• Experience: Proven experience in a warehouse and/or manufacturing environment.

• Physical Capability: High level of physical fitness, as manual handling is required.

• Attributes: Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive safety-first mindset.

Desirable (High Advantage):

• Inventory Systems: Experience using digital Inventory Management Systems (IMS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
