MR Drivers - Casual Shifts

Fresh To Go Foods are an Australian owned leading food manufacturer dedicated to crafting high-quality, ready-made wraps and sandwiches renowned for commitment to quality, innovation and excellence.   We are a high care food assembly team with our range of ready-made rolls, wraps and sandwiches and delivering to some of the most well-known retail and food service businesses nationwide.   We are on the lookout for an MR drivers. You will be joining a friendly team environment where you will be valued and operating out of our Bayswater site.    

Responsibilities include: 

·       Check the temperature of products when loading

·       Ensure all products are in their correct temperature range

·       Minimise the time that products are outside of refrigeration

·       Obtain signatures from the customers when goods are delivered  

·       Record the temperatures and times on daily logbook

·       Collect payment from any sites where they are listed as Cash-On-Delivery

·       Collect any products from the customer that need to be returned to the site as advised by site team

·       Complete required credit notes and paperwork for all products that are collected to be returned

·       Contact the Transport Logistics Manager/Site Operations Manager to report issues, delays etc.

·       Complete inspections of the truck on the start-up and finish to ensure it is safe and clean

·       Report any defects with the truck to the Transport Supervisor

·       Clean out the truck at the end of the Delivery Run and record this on the Cleaning form

·       Ensure the temperature probe is returned at the end of the shift so it can be checked each day

To be successful you will need:      

·       MR Drivers License and to be competent in operation of delivery vehicles

·       Excellent Customer Service skills

·       Experience with multi-drop deliveries

·       Good Communication skills

·       Positive ‘Can Do’ attitude

 Your hours:

• Up to 4 shifts per week (usually Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday)

• Shifts are up to 10 - 12 hours

• Starting between 2.30am to 4.30am

• Shift loading extra

• Start and finish times may vary

• May be suitable for Students

*Opportunity for some extra Warehouse work (optional)
