Plant Operator’s and General Civil Labourers

MACS Australia are seeking experienced Plant Operator’s and General Civil Labourers to join our team delivering civil works within a live oil and gas facility in Kwinana.

These roles suit experienced civil construction personnel who are safety focused, reliable and comfortable working within a live industrial environment.

Scope of Works:

The project involves a variety of civil and earthworks activities, including but not limited to:

• Minor roadworks and crossings

• Trench excavation

• Civil works within tank areas

• Construction of concrete slabs and plinths

• Formwork and steel fixing

• Concrete preparation, placement and finishing

• Minor asphalt handwork and repairs

• General civil construction and site duties

• Working around existing infrastructure and services within a live facility

Plant Operator’s:

We are looking for experienced operators capable of undertaking plant operation as well as assisting with general civil duties when required.

Essential requirements:

• Excavator ticket/competency – 5T+

• Skid Steer ticket/competency

• Current HR Driver's Licence

• Demonstrated civil construction and earthworks experience

• Experience with trench excavation and working around existing services

• Willingness to assist with general civil and labouring duties

• Strong commitment to safety and site procedures

Experience within live oil & gas, refinery, or similar industrial environments will be highly regarded.

General Civil Labourer’s:

We are also seeking experienced civil labourers with hands-on capability across a range of civil construction activities.

Essential requirements:

• Formwork

• Steel fixing and reinforcement

• Concrete slabs and plinths

• Concrete preparation, placement and finishing

• Trenching and excavation support

• Roadworks and asphalt handwork

• General civil construction and labouring

• Safe use of hand and power tools

A HR Driver's Licence, Roller ticket and other relevant civil/plant tickets are desirable but not essential for the labourer positions.

Working Hours:

This position offers consistent weekday hours with no weekend or night shifts.

Monday–Thursday: 6:30am – 4:15pm
Friday: 6:30am – 3:00pm
45-hour working week
