NSW Factory Supervisor

At CHA, teamwork and collaboration are at the heart of what we do. Our customer service team works closely with Sales, Operations, Warehouse, and Finance to ensure our customers receive a seamless experience from enquiry through to delivery.

About the role

We're looking for a motivated and hands-on Factory Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of our factory and warehouse. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, supporting their team, and driving safe, efficient, and high-quality operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production activities to ensure customer orders are completed on time and to quality standards.

• Supervise the factory and warehouse team, providing guidance, support, and day-to-day direction.

• Ensure efficient warehouse operations, including stock control, receipting, and warehouse organisation.

• Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with production standards and procedures.

• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, productivity, and operational efficiency.

• Resolve day-to-day production issues and support the team in achieving operational targets.

• Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to team members.

• Work closely with Procurement and Supply Chain to support stock availability and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Promote a safe workplace by ensuring compliance with WHS policies and safe work practices.

• Support employee performance, development, and engagement within the team.

About you

• Experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or similar operational environment.

• Previous experience leading a small team or the ability to step into a leadership role.

• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.

• A hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example.

• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

• Technical aptitude and a willingness to learn and develop.

• Experience with continuous improvement or process improvement initiatives is an advantage.
