Senior Business Analyst

Job Description

Are you an experienced Business Analyst who enjoys solving complex problems and turning business needs into practical technology solutions?

We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our ANZ Software Delivery team. You’ll work closely with Product Owners, Business SMEs, Solution Architects, Engineers and Test teams to deliver high-quality software and technology solutions across our insurance portfolio.

What You’ll Do

Lead discovery workshops and gather business, customer and regulatory requirementsTranslate complex needs into clear, prioritised and delivery-ready requirementsDevelop user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps and business rulesPartner with business and technical teams throughout the delivery lifecycleSupport solution design, backlog refinement, prioritisation and delivery planningIdentify risks, dependencies and impacts across software, integration, data and reporting initiativesSupport testing, business validation and successful implementation

What You’ll Bring

Proven experience as a Senior, Technical or Technology Business AnalystStrong experience working in complex software or technology delivery environmentsExperience with Agile, hybrid or product-led delivery modelsKnowledge of system integrations, APIs, data, reporting or cloud technologiesExcellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skillsStrong analytical, problem-solving and process-mapping capabilitiesThe ability to confidently bridge the gap between business and technologyExperience in insurance, claims, workers’ compensation or another regulated industry would be highly regarded but is not essential
