Hubergroup is a well-established, global organisation who boasts a strong reputation as market leader in the supply of high-quality packaging and specialty printing inks and consumables.

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Colour Matcher / Ink Technician who will preferably have an understanding of the flexographic printing process, or related discipline (e.g., paints).

Key duties:

• Planning and execution of production requirements, including Colour-matching & manufacturing of inks.

• Responsible for Quality Control of ink production and measurement vs. KPI's

• Measurement of Ink and print performance, including preparation of regular reports.

• Project work & evaluations.

The successful candidate will possess a strong set of analytical skills, together with a high attention to detail & sound understanding of colour.

To be successful in this role, you require:

• Knowledge of colour matching practices.

• Demonstrated colour matching skills.

• A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in colour matching is required.

• Demonstrated knowledge of printing ink and consumable products, or related field (e.g., Paints).

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a related field

• A hands-on approach.

• Strong organizational & troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to interact effectively with a broad range of people.

• Experience using spectrophotometry will be highly regarded.

• Familiar with various Microsoft packages

• Australian work rights are required for this position.
