A Day In The Life with Uniting Aged Care

What you’ll do

As the Occupational Therapist, you’ll be responsible for providing support to our clients with the goal of maximising mobility and functional capability. In this role, you will provide relevant professional services based on the needs and goals of the individual client.

Facilitate client assessments and service delivery in collaboration with the broader teamProvide professional Occupational Therapy services to Uniting clientsBuild and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and support staffProvide expert advice to the Neighbourhood and clinical team within your area of specialityReview and maintain the required client documentationEnsure that the client’s voice is heard when it comes to support, social engagement and quality of lifeMaintain a high standard of conduct and performance in accordance with Uniting’s values and policies.

What we’re looking for

Bachelor qualification in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualificationCurrent registration with the Australian Health Professional Registration Authority (AHPRA) Current Australian Drivers LicensePrevious experience in Aged Care or similar industry is preferredAbility and willingness to travel when requiredDemonstrated ability to conduct health screenings and functional assessments.
