Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and reliable Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing hot water systems, as well as carrying out a wide range of residential and commercial plumbing work. The ideal applicant will have strong problem-solving skills, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, repair, and replace electric, gas, solar, and heat pump hot water systems.

• Diagnose and repair faults in hot water systems and general plumbing installations.

• Carry out maintenance and repairs on water, drainage, and sewer systems.

• Install and repair taps, toilets, sinks, showers, and other plumbing fixtures.

• Detect and repair water leaks and blocked drains.

• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and technical drawings.

• Ensure all work complies with relevant plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.

• Complete job reports and maintain accurate service records.

• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.

• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in a safe and tidy condition.

Essential Requirements

• Qualified and licensed plumber.

• Experience with hot water system installation and repairs.

• Strong knowledge of general plumbing maintenance and fault finding.

• Current driver's licence.

• Ability to work independently and manage daily workloads.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Commitment to workplace health and safety.

Desirable Qualifications

• Gas fitting licence (if applicable).

• Experience with solar and heat pump hot water systems.

• Backflow prevention and TMV accreditation (advantageous).

• Excavator or confined space tickets (advantageous).
