PROCESS/PRODUCTION YARD WORKER

Ecocycle, located in Kwinana Beach, is an established, progressive, forward-thinking company providing a range of battery in devices recycling solutions for industry, with sites across Australia and New Zealand.  We are looking for full-time employee to fulfil the above positions with an immediate start.  This is a full-time position for a reliable and hardworking candidate. This hands-on outdoor role is suited to someone with a strong labouring background who is physically fit, active, and comfortable working in a industrial environment.

About the role
We are seeking an experienced yard hand to join our team at our Kwinana Beach Site. In this full-time role, you will be required to undertake all tasks in a safe and timely manner, working well within a small team. Our operating hours are 07:00 – 15:30, overtime and overnight stays may also be required and the rate of pay is $32ph.

What you'll be doing

• Sorting batteries into their specific chemistries

• Processing electronic waste

• Bailing a variety of materials

• Operating a forklift for general tasks as well as loading and unloading trucks

• When required, completing battery runs

• When required, completing regional battery runs and overnight stays

What we're looking for

• A valid forklift and driver’s license

• Knowledge of safe driving practices

• The ability to identify tasks using their own initiative and work independently

• Reasonable level of fitness and the ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy items

• Excellent customer service skills

• Good communication and organisational skills

• Basic IT and computer skills

• Well presented

• Excellent teamwork skills
