Through the OneSKY Australia Program, we are delivering the future Civil Military Air Traffic Management System (CMATS) in partnership with the Department of Defence, transforming the way Australian airspace is managed for generations to come.

We are seeking an experienced OneSKY Training Delivery Specialist to lead the planning, development, implementation, and governance of training solutions that will support Airservices operational personnel transitioning to next-generation air traffic management capabilities.

This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in a nationally significant program while working alongside aviation, training, and operational experts.

The Role & The Team

As the OneSKY Training Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and delivering an integrated training system that supports the successful implementation of CMATS and associated capabilities. You will work across multiple stakeholder groups, with a strong focus on Air Traffic Control operations, ensuring personnel receive the training required to effectively perform their roles in the future operating environment.

You will coordinate training activities, align learning solutions with operational requirements and workforce planning, and establish robust governance processes that support successful program outcomes.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the identification and capture of training requirements for OneSKY capabilities, including CMATS and BVCS.
• Design, develop, review, and maintain training documentation such as:
  • Training Needs Analyses
  • Training Plans
  • Courseware and Assessments
  • Instructor and Student Guides
• Drive innovative and efficient approaches to training delivery and implementation.
• Work closely with operational, workforce planning, and training teams to ensure alignment between program and operational priorities.
• Coordinate contractor-delivered training activities, nominations, certifications, and reporting.
• Support scheduling and administration of customer-delivered Air Traffic Control training.
• Develop training governance, reporting, and oversight mechanisms.
• Monitor training completion and readiness activities supporting operational testing, evaluation, and commissioning milestones.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with program leaders, subject matter experts, Defence stakeholders, and contractors.

The Person

You are an experienced training professional who excels in complex operational environments and is passionate about building workforce capability during periods of change. You combine strong stakeholder management, instructional design expertise, and a practical approach to delivering high-quality training outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).
• Experience designing, developing and implementing training programs in operational environments.
• Experience supporting complex change, transformation or technology implementation initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Experience developing training needs analyses, courseware, assessments and learning materials.
• Knowledge of competency-based training principles and regulated training environments.
• Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Desirable:

• Experience in aviation, air traffic management, defence, or another safety-critical industry.
• Understanding of CASR Parts 65, 143 and 172.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education, Learning & Development, Aviation, Project Management, or a related discipline.
