Are you a passionate and experienced nursing professional with expertise in infection prevention and control? Nepean Hospital is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) to join our Infection Prevention and Control team and play a pivotal role in safeguarding patient, visitor and staff safety through evidence based infection prevention practices.
As the Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will provide expert clinical leadership, consultancy, education and support across the organisation to minimise healthcare associated infections and promote best practice infection prevention strategies. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, you will contribute to surveillance programs, outbreak management, policy development, quality improvement initiatives and staff education to ensure compliance with relevant standards, guidelines and legislative requirements.
