About the Role
GRG is seeking a Remuneration Analyst to help our consultants deliver high-quality, evolving services to clients. The role analyses, interprets and tailors complex qualitative and quantitative information from annual reports and surveys to support executive and director remuneration decisions. You will connect consultants with colleagues responsible for data collection, data entry, analysis and database management, translating consulting needs into coordinated work across the team. You will also maintain, improve and operate Excel-based analysis tools for standard and client-specific requirements. Other responsibilities may include remuneration benchmarking, data capture and processing, tailored research, business administration and marketing support.
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop, optimise and operate excel tools for data analysis and client delivery.
Analyse remuneration and benefits data for senior executive positions.
Provide ongoing support in relation to the collection, interpretation and accuracy of remuneration and benefits data, including quality control.
Act as the primary point of contact for consultants, translating their needs into coordinated actions across the broader team of analysts, data-entry colleagues and technical specialists supporting the database.
Maintain technical documentation and training materials for analyst processes and tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of consulting and other projects.
Extract data from GRG’s cloud-based SQL database and import it into Excel. GRG will provide training for this task; prior SQL database experience is not required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline.
Demonstrated attention to detail, with a strong focus on quality control, analytical accuracy and reducing the risk of errors.
Clear and professional communication by phone, email and Microsoft Teams with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify practical insights.
Able to work autonomously and proactively while also thriving in a mixed team of local and remote colleagues
Ability to read and interpret annual reports and financial statements from ASX-listed companies, with an interest in developing specialist knowledge of remuneration reports and corporate governance statements.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, and an interest in building practical tools that turn qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights and reports. Relevant Excel capabilities include:
