We are seeking an experienced Stores & Laser Materials Coordinator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for managing and coordinating a broad range of laser cutting and fabrication materials, ensuring accurate stock control, timely supply to production and dispatch in a fast-paced environment.

You will play a key role in supporting smooth production flow by ensuring materials are available when needed and properly managed through stores and inventory systems.

• Manage inventory of laser cutting and fabrication materials

• Receive, store, and issue materials for production use

• Coordinate timely supply of materials to laser cutting and manufacturing operations

• Maintain accurate stock records, cycle counts, and stock reconciliations

• Monitor material usage, scrap, and returns

• Support job kitting and preparation of materials for production schedules

• Ensure efficient material flow between stores and production areas

• Maintain safe work practices when handling materials

• Coordinate packing, freight and dispatching of completed products.

• Experience in stores, dispatch, warehousing, inventory control, or materials coordination in a manufacturing environment

• Experience and knowledge of a broad range of laser cutting and fabrication materials is essential

• Strong understanding of stock control processes (receiving, issuing, cycle counts, reconciliation, dispatch)

• Ability to manage material flow to meet production demands

• High attention to detail and accuracy with record keeping

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Current forklift licence
