Experienced Spray Technician – Landscape & Grounds Maintenance

We are seeking an experienced Spray Technician to join our Landscape & Grounds Maintenance team.

This role is primarily responsible for the safe and effective application of herbicides for weed control across a variety of landscape and maintenance sites. The successful applicant will play an important role in maintaining high-quality outdoor environments while ensuring all chemical applications are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply herbicides and other approved chemicals for weed management across parks, reserves, streetscapes, commercial properties, and landscaped areas.
• Operate and maintain spray equipment, with experience using Toro Multi Pro spray units highly regarded.
• Identify weed species and apply the appropriate treatment methods.
• Complete pre-start checks and maintain spray equipment to a high standard.
• Accurately record chemical applications and comply with all environmental, WHS, and regulatory requirements.
• Work both day and night shifts as required to meet operational needs.
• Maintain a professional approach while working across multiple sites.

Essential Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience operating spray equipment in the landscape, turf, or grounds maintenance industry.
• Current AQF Level 3 Chemical Accreditation (Spray Certificate).
• Current unrestricted driver’s licence.
• Strong understanding of herbicide application, chemical handling, and safe work practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to delivering quality outcomes.

Desirable:

• Experience operating Toro Multi Pro spray equipment.
• Knowledge of common weed species and best-practice weed management techniques.
