Dalby Christian College is a co-educational, Prep – Year 12 Christian School with secondary boarding and an Early Learning Centre. The College was established in 1981 and teaches from a Biblical Christian Worldview with the purpose of equipping young people of character and purpose in Christ.

Dalby Christian College emphasises excellence and growth in Christian character with a vision of providing a Christian education that is founded on Biblically based beliefs, values, and behaviour.

An expression of a personal Christian faith, regular church attendance and a commitment to the ethos of Christian Education is essential.

The successful applicant’s responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining, to a high standard, the College’s open spaces, surrounds and lawn areas.

• Maintaining a clean and tidy school facade along the College’s perimeter.

• Operate various types of machinery in accordance with safe operating procedures.

• Carry out basic maintenance on machinery and all powered equipment and hand tools.

• Carry out irrigation and plumbing installation, maintenance and repairs.

• Carry out building maintenance, repairs and servicing to ensure safe and efficient operation.

• Work in a team environment and on occasion, work with minimum supervision.

• Prepared to undertake any additional training to complement the position.

• Any other duties that have been allocated by the Grounds and Facilities Manager.

• Hold or are eligible to hold a valid Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).

• Current drivers licence (manual licence would be an advantage).
